MAX HOYT KOCH is the only child of a bookbinder and a letterpress printer.

He was raised in a print shop and has printed his whole life. He knows little else.

Max took a brief break from printing to get a BA in art with a minor in geography.

He teaches letterpress printing at Austin Center for Book Arts.
